I was just invited to attend Sales & Trading Explorer Program (STEP) for TD Securities next Friday. I was wondering if anyone has any insights on the S&T division at TD Securities. I'm from a non-target school, but just wondering if its a program worth shooting for. Thank for any input.

Seems like a good opportunity if sales and trading is your interest. I'm interested in IB as well but I would do a stint at trading firm if it was offered because it's interesting to me.
I'm in the same boat as you. My ideal career path is IB, but an S&T gig doesn't sound bad right out of school.
If you can get in their DCM group out of this program, go for it. TD will give you great opportunities if you're interested in S&T. Their DCM groups do pretty good volume too.
TD Securities is a pretty strong shop, they are known for their FI S&T capabilities. They have a really strong Interest Rates desk as well as a good franchise in IG corporates. I also have heard great things about TD Securities internship/analyst program so definitely pursue this opportunity.
If you are non-target, I would definitely go for it !
