TD Securities Toronto SA (IB)
First round on Tuesday, and superday on Saturday 22nd.
Any tips for the IBD SA interview process at TD Securities? Anything in particular to know?
Also, how many SAs did they hire last summer? outlook for this summer?

Anyone know when RBC CM will be contacting those chosen for first rounds?
I hated TD's culture. you might like it.
^ Really? What was the aspect of their culture that you hated? My experience with TD was that people were generally easier going, more laid back.
I interviewed with them for a S&T FT job and they kept bragging about how good they were and all that bullshit. To me, they just sounded like arrogant assholes.
I thought BMO's culture is more easy going and laid back...
Anyways, good luck.
First rounds are pretty heavy on the technical side.
TD runs pretty lean, so expect ~2-5 SAs (For Toronto IBD)
Culture is definitely more laid back - cool bunch of guys
did any non-targets get an interview?
perhaps
Concordia is a non-target.
Ivey and Queen's are targets, and Schulich and UofT being semi targets. Rest are non-targets.
Being a sophomore at a non-target.. I wouldn't have high hopes.

I believe you still have 2 weeks to apply for transfer. You can choose to be bitter for the rest of your life, or you can choose to transfer.
Zeeshan what school are you from / did you get any interviews as a soph?
have any of the other canadian banks/globals sent out invites yet for Toronto?
donkey kong, it depends on the school, most toronto banks and toronto globals are out at Ivey so far.
only ones not out that i know of are: cpp investment board, cibc, bmo capital markets
McGill students land jobs all across Canada. I have some friends who graduated from McGill working in IB in Toronto, Calgary and Montreal. McGill is definitely considered a target.

I bet those guys at TD go on wso
krome, they dont know who anyone here is in real life..
hey, I went through the SA process last year and got an offer from them (though declined to go to BMO instead)
at schulich, their first round consisted of 2 interviews back to back, the second being more technical and intense than the first
also, for their super saturday they had several brain teaser questions (only bank that asked them from my super saturdays)
in terms of interviews, i know of 9-10 3rd years at schulich that got first rounds for tuesday
pm me if you have any questions
