Thoughts on changing jobs very early on into a job

Hey guys, I'm sure many people have asked about reneging an offer right out of undergrad or something along those lines. But I think my situation is slightly different, but who knows, maybe I'm being ungrateful. So I've been working in the investment industry for the past 3 years and was let go from an equity research job earlier this year. I've been unemployed for the past few months and recently received an offer to become a publishing analyst at a boutique. The downside is the pay is 33% below my previous job (which was as an associate) and its not enough to live on in NYC. The offer is below operations entry level, for context. Some people I've spoken with have recommended that I accept but continue to interview and jump ASAP. I'm currently interviewing for a number of good positions that I would take in a heart beat. I feel bad doing this for obvious reasons. What do you guys recommend?

Sounds like you should keep looking, but step up your level of applying / networking as you want as little of a gap as possible.
