Internal Transfer at JPM - Should I Tell My Manager First?
I’m currently working at JPMorgan and considering an internal transfer to another team.
I’m trying to understand the typical process and, more importantly, how confidential the initial conversation with HR/internal recruiters is.
If I reach out to a JPMorgan HR recruiter to discuss potential internal opportunities, will they typically inform my current manager? Or is the initial conversation generally confidential?
