[Time Sensitive] Upcoming SA Private Equity "Superday"

This is for Aquiline Capital Partners (website)—obviously not Bain Capital which also recruits at my school and does an intense Case Method process. But it's private equity, and I don't know what to expect. If anyone can evaluate this company or happens to know about Aquiline that would be helpful. This is a summer analyst position that could lead to full-time. This is the first time the firm has ever recruited summer analysts.

The process * Did first round on-campus: 2 vs. 1 interview. Resume walkthrough; asked me how I would conceptually value an ice cream store business; informational. Easy. * Made it to the "superday" stage that is coming up next week. Told I will meet "several investment professionals" in several interviews over a 2 hour period. Then given a choice of 4 times, (two slots on two different days). Requested one and got a response that it was "completely booked." So I chose another time.

Unclear Is this a "superday" in the traditional sense? Probably not but it is unlikely they are bringing only one person in per slot (4 people total??).

Also, need some advice on what a private equity investment professional might want to ask a college junior during an interview. I don't even know where to begin and if IB prep is even relevant.

A final round of 50-100 or so candidates brought into a bank or investment firm on a single day with back-to-back interviews to weed out the final candidates and extend offers.

Private equity firms are much smaller and leaner than IBs, so no there won't be 50-100 people there.

MM IB -> Corporate Development -> Strategic Finance
