Toronto Boutiques

I mentioned that I had a list of Toronto boutiques that I had contacted or was planning on contacting in another thread and people seemed pretty interested in it. I figured I would make it available to everyone. I know it isn't every Toronto shop (or even close to every shop).

Here is my list.

GMP Securities Greenhill Cormark Securities Haywood Securities Raymond James Paradigm Capital Clarus Securities Byron Capital Markets Stonecap Securities Union Securities MGI Securities Octagon Capital BayFront Capital Crosbie & Co Fraser Mackenzie CCC Investment Banking NewPoint Capital Partners Toll Cross Securities Loewen Partners Northern Securities Jacob Securities Spire Sharwood Oppenheimer & Co Northland Capital Partners Dundee Capital Markets Capital Canada Versant Partners Primary Capital Blair Franklin

bumpthethreadThanks whatsWACC. Very helpful.

Just a note for those who are reading this thread: a lot of these firms only hire FT, not for summer.

Correct. But, I got a number of positive responses from places that are interested on bringing in a Summer Analyst or would consider it later in Feb/March.

Merrill Lynch probably has the largest presence. I've also heard good things about the Morgan Stanley office. The one thing you need to be careful of is the fact that a lot of the Toronto BB offices source their deal execution to their NYC offices (i.e. JPM/Barclays). Check the Canadian league tables for more info.
