Daily Mail:

In a 'loud and aggressive tirade' she then asked whether he thought her bra was appropriate and tried to show him her bra strap, an East London tribunal was told.

Like 2% of all accountants aren't fucking weirdos. I know this because I am an accountant and would like to think I'm in that 2%. So none of this was that surprising when it hit the fan.

What accountants do you deal with? I know a lot of accountants (having accounting education myself), and most of them are alright.

Jun 23, 2020

Wtf, her Linkedin IS insane. No wonder she cannot find a job since 2018 - just google her name.

Jun 23, 2020

Curious, how does one recover from such news coverage? I'm assuming most employers google names as standard hiring practices.

Jun 24, 2020

Seeing someone self describe themselves as "Tenacious" on a business networking platform is terrifying, that just screams "I'm abrasive, aggressive, and a non-team player"

Her latest experience is all "pitched", "raised awareness", "leveraged network for publicity" "passionate about realizing potential", "wears heart on sleeve". These are all verbose ways to highlight the fact that you did nothing of true substance.

"Networked internally within KPMG to raise my profile" ???

Here's what she did at KPMG... She must be great at introductions!

  • Introduced India Partner of the Ethereum Foundation to Head of Digital Village KPMG Singapore in 2017 after attending London FinTech Week 2017 on my own accord
  • Introduced top Japanese telecommunications firm contact with KPMG UK Japan Desk Director
  • Networked extensively internally within KPMG and externally, raising both my profile and KPMG UK LLP My current top viewed post is 15x of then number of followers. This is achieved within 6 months of joining LinkedIn.

My goodness this girl has the biggest balls. I'm kind of impressed that someone could even do this kind of stuff as an entry-level:

"She also refused to sit on the same floor as the rest of the Insurance team, commandeering a meeting room five floors below in which she installed a rice cooker."

Let this be a lesson to all the young people of America. When you have a fake job like HR or media then you can throw as many tantrums as you like, but when you are supposed to be making money (or assisting those making money) that stuff won't fly. Wealthy elites need to make their money first before virtue-signalling. She joined the wrong industry.

Also, I suggest you read the article. She was given more chances than I would think most companies would have given someone.

here's her video if anyone wants their ears to bleed

Jun 24, 2020

There's a fair amount of these goobers in public accounting. Public accounting firms seem to be the one-stop-shop for people who graduated with an accounting degree and had no idea they would be doing accounting all day every day.

With that being said, why does the article label her a "trainee accountant" with three years of experience? That's senior accountant level tenure.

Might be that she is not yet chartered, that's why a "trainee accountant".

Jun 24, 2020

Plenty of accountants don't get certified, it doesn't make them trainees.

As someone currently in Public, yeah can confirm this. We got a high density of turbo virgins in our field.

this article is the funniest thing I have read all lockdown
They reprimand her for eating too much of staff food so she then shows up with plastic containers to take even more . A rice cooker? The bra strap. Calling a partner 'the bald one' even though she knew his name. I cannot stop laughing.

Haha this is fucking wild. I better watch my ass before somebody accuses me of mansplaining too. I guess i'll just let people keep fucking things up instead?

Jun 24, 2020

she has most definitely lost the plot

Jun 24, 2020

Was she trying to get fired?

Jun 24, 2020

Some of this is really really funny.

Randomly commandeering a floor, taking tons of food, etc... Pretty hilarious tbh.

Jun 24, 2020

Not sure what's even true anymore. But if KPMG actually employed someone this crazy for 3 years, I would need to know how that happens before hiring them for anything.

Jun 24, 2020

So what's the lesson here?

Jun 24, 2020

Accusations of mansplaining should be considered sexual harassment of men, and will not be tolerated. That's how I see it.

Jun 24, 2020

I mean, he 'mansplained' that jeans aren't appropriate work attire on weekdays. Is that really that bad? My boss once made fun of me for wearing a grey suit instead of charcoal when we had clients in the office and got rained on while going to the cocktail hour afterwards.

Just so you know, I did have an umbrella, but was nice enough to share it with HIS boss, who didn't.

She is absurd but this stuff is honestly hilarious. Like she's basically a sitcom character

Jun 24, 2020

If she was doing this with will, then I have no sympathy for her. However, if she did this due to a mental anomaly, then she deserves some understanding and sympathy.

I've found men to be better at explaining shit than women. Women try to make anything some personal anecdote. So I'll take mansplaining over womansplaining.

I saw Zhihui Lu at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything. She said, "Oh, like you're doing now?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Maam, you need to pay for those first." At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
