UK Employability: Nottingham or Exeter? For BB/Big 4 in London/Europe

Generally have very little idea of UK/EU finance industry. Grew up and attended undergrad in Asia.

Recently was accepted for an MSc Finance course at the University of Exeter and MSc Risk Management course at the University of Nottingham.

1) Which combination of degree in course the above would be most beneficial for employability for BB/EB/MM/Big 4 in London/Europe?

2) Does subject matter more or school name? For London/EU

3) Please provide as much info (eg. employment reputation, approximate number of alumni at firms, etc...)

Thanks!

1) Both are semi targets for UG and non targets for PG. I have never seen anyone at an EB/BB/MM form these schools at the masters level - these unis are not well renowned for Master courses.

Big4 hires so many people I would not be surprised if you could get a spot quite easily from these places - but may not be in their most attractive practices (restructuring, M&A, TAS, etc) but rather Audit from which you can move to other practices after 3~ years if you are a good performer.

2) School first definitely then subject

3) See 1.
