Undergrad BBA - EMORY Goizueta Scholars(full tuition) vs. Georgetown vs. ROSS vs. STERN

My Son is admitted to the above undergrad business schools. EMORY Goizueta offered 100% tuition. What are his chances of getting to IB/Sales&Trading type jobs in the BB banks. Haven't heard much about Goizueta OCR from BB banks. Should he consider other schools and what is the ROI in the long run given he got full tuition covered at Goizueta. Appreciate the feedback from alums who may be at these big banks or other hedge funds - he is struggling to make a decision which should be done this week.

Thank you myr899 - that helps. Is Goizueta a target school for any of the BB firms? Do they do OCR for internships and placements? How do the students network with people in these places? Apologies for asking questions that might have been answered earlier but he waited till all he attended admitted student sessions at all these business schools, he didn't decide on a college until now. Still a bit of on the fence with brand reputation vs. 200K tuition offer from Goizueta.

No problem at all. Emory has a great brand, and I have seen people from Emory at every bank/group you could think of. While the placements might not be to the degree of Ross/Georgetown, I can assure you that none of the other choices are worth 200k+ over Emory. Ross/Georgetown placements are only slightly better and definitely not worth that cost.

Placement is weaker than Ross and Georgetown, and it's more expensive. If it's 240k at Georgetown vs 0k at Emory, I'd take Emory. Like others have said, you'll land something solid if you hustle, and frankly, $240k it wayyyyy too much debt. If your kid decides that they hate banking after doing an IB summer internship and wants to work in corporate finance making $60-70k their first year out of school, it'll be a crippling amount of debt.

Are you able to afford Stern or Georgetown? Those are more of a target. In any case, your son has to be the one who wants to go into finance and he will need to network and study hard at any institution.

It's between Georgetown and Emory imo. Georgetown is the most prestigious school and is a strong target at all banks. To my knowledge Emory is more of a semi-target but hopefully someone on here can provide more color. I'd also see if the schools post career placement reports where you can get more info.
