Baume is always a great choice. Nothing wrong with either but the B&M will likely depreciate less if that's something you care about. I'd also recommend buying watches used (and spending more) on a site like Chrono 24. You can get a $10,000+ watch for like $6000, and then sell it for what you paid when you get bored of it. The reason I recommend spending more is because you can get something that won't depreciate as savagely and end up saving money that way.

 

I'm a big B&M fan considering my first watch and the one I'm currently wearing is a steel band clifton. Capeland is a nice watch that has a sort of classy elegance to it.

The aquaracer is a nice looking sport-y watch but when it comes to sport models I think it would be better to save a some more and try to get something like an Omega Speedmaster.
