Cycled through 3 jobs this year. It's been a rollercoaster. 2014 is seeming good though - looking forward to it! New city, new peeps, new life.

can I hear your story sometime just for this year? 3 jobs in one year, that's definitely unique.

The short version: Jan-Feb - continuation of my Associate stint with Big 4 company. Was miserable, decided to leave to pursue another industry. Feb-Apr - graduate internship in analytics with a PR agency focusing on digital content marketing. May - health issues caused me to take a break from full-time work for a month. Did some online classes and networking, but for the most part was in and out of the doctor's / vegetating at home. June-Dec - full-time position in boutique PR agency working two jobs for the price of one. No really - that's my official job description: PR and Business Development dual-focus role. Next February - San Francisco, baby!

Only major priority: new job. I'm underutilized and underpaid and I'm fed up.

Hear, hear! Good luck.

I noticed that whenever I list too much of my resolutions, at least half of them I would consistently complete each year.

As the OP, these are my 2014 resolutions:

  1. Kick ass at my new job in NY as a management consultant
  2. Network with people at the big apple. Enjoy NY to the fullest extent
  3. Get closer to the people I love, and make them happier
  4. GMAT!
i'm not smart enough to do everything, but dumb enough to try anything
