I heard this on my drive in to work this morning. If would happen in Texas, those animals would get lit up by a proud legal gun carrying citizen.

Live free or die.

Oh if you are in NY, you probably won't be able to get one, especially in the city.

Looking back on these 2 incidents, I think that it would be unwise to use your weapon if attacked at the fair. The sheer number of assailants could easily overwhelm you and take your weapon away. Now you've got at least one person with a gun and large number of pissed off people who will want to kick your ass.

On the bus incident, it would have been sensible and justified to return fire.

Edit: Grammar.

My parents live in Milwaukee. I guess the black youth has been particularly "active" in Milwaukee this year. Not necessarily in one area either. A group in the burbs, a group by Lake Michigan, and now in West Allis (this is down the street from the Brewers stadium, where an Olympic rink is).

Kind of surprising, because it's the Hispanic community there that has serious gang activity. Ironically, you can drive through, or go to restaurants right next to, the Hispanic gang communities without any trouble. But, if you're at a public event, or at the mall on a wrong day, a flash-mob of these kids could swarm in.

President Lincoln made a huge mistake IMO. He should honorably repatriated all former slaves to their homes in Africa. That would have been the right thing to do.

As for right now, call out the National Guard and start shooting these savages.

I think I did not make my comment clear enough. After winning the Civil War to preserve the Union, end Slavery and free the Slaves, the honorable thing would have been to repatriate all former slaves back to Africa. President Lincoln IMO should have set up a policy to do so.

Jefferson had already tried to do this and failed. Thus the reason the country of Liberia was set up. It was the free colony for former slaves in the US.

The one who does not fall, does not stand up

This is common in Philly. At least once a month there will be a flash mob involving democratic voters. Police are always on the scene well after it happens. I suppose all the welfare, aid and freebies the working man provides isn't enough to stop the violence.
