What do you do in your free time? Feel like I'm wasting a lot of time

(Still in school) I feel like I'm wasting so much time when I could be more productive. My typical free time is spent between youtube/guitar/xbox/gym (all regular activities). What do you all do?

First of all, while playing video games and watching videos online COULD be thought of as a waste of time, going to the gym is not. It's very important to stay healthy and in shape - not just for your own sake, but it helps a lot boosting your confidence and attracting girls.

Watching videos online is only useless if you're watching video game walkthroughs...if you're watching motivational speeches or learning something valuable, it's not a waste of time at all. You can learn more in one episode of Shark Tank than you could in a whole semester at most non-target state-school management classes.

What is your GPA? If you have a solid GPA, who cares? There are people who have 2.5 GPA averages and spend all their time drinking and partying... if you have a 3.6 or higher, it won't make a difference. There eventually gets to a point where you can't prepare for an exam any further.

Playing guitar is cool - not only is it an interesting thing to put on your resume so that people won't assume you're a nerd who spends 24/7 studying, it also helps getting girls and is an interesting conversation starter.

Honestly, as long as you're not posting garbage troll content every day and getting into arguments with GoldenCinderblock, I'd say you're alright

I think reading, listening to podcasts, and other methods of learning or just enriching your mind pay dividends personally and professionally. Don't be afraid to go into a subject knowing you don't have the time to master it. Even basic understandings of radically different fields of knowledge can broaden your way of thinking and can often benefit you in unexpected ways down the road

The last time I remember having 'free time' to just 'chillax' and be lazy or non-productive is 1999.

I decided to move to the West Coast that year and packed up all my shit in my Honda and left to drive across the country the following summer in 2000.

Since then, there has always been something to do.

Something to think about.

Something to plan for.

The guilty pleasure of taking free time when you don't have it. It doesn't last long, so enjoy it.

You could say I have 'all free time now' or 'no free time'. I guess it is a matter of perspective. To some, I look very very busy all the time. Others tell me that they 'envy all the time I have'. But, I stay pretty damn busy all day and accomplish a shit ton every day. Every fucking day.

Gotta put out.

In my super limited free time (besides when I'm doing stuff with friends/family), I generally enjoy reading books about history and watching certain youtube channels that have a history or scientific focus (Extra History, In A Nutshell, Simple History, Oversimplified, etc). I also do enjoy the occasional mind numbing youtube content that I used to like back in the day. Also love watching sports--huge baseball and football fan. I play video games sometimes but mainly as a way to take to my friends over some fortnite, rather than doing a game on my own. However, I do wanna get Red Dead 2. Also try to go to the gym when I can but need to do it a lot more if I wanna be a fUcKiNg StAlLiOn by next summer.
