I personally like and have the 5th Ave's, but either is really nice.
I have the PAs in black and the 5ths in Black & Burnished Brown.
I prefer the look of the PAs but I always bought the one that was on sale in a color I wanted. I'm waiting for the burgundy/merlo PAs to go on sale. Also like the cordovan PAs but can't get myself to pay $600, like 1k after tax, on shoes.
Both are nice, but I prefer 5th.
Own a pair of both
If you don't mind spending a little bit more, I would opt for the "Harrison" - virtually identical to Park Avenue but much more comfortable and higher quality.
I'm pretty sure the toe of each one is entirely different. One is rounded, one is not.
