What finance companies are NOT mandating the vaccine right now?

I'm requesting religious exemption because of Biden's vaccine mandate for federal contractors. I don't feel safe at current job even if my exemption is approved. Which companies are not mandating the jab?

Funniest

Imagine putting your livelihood at risk just because of some misinformation you found on meemaw's Facebook.  Bye bye plague rat

But the virus has a 99.999999 percent survival rate

Nice, then a little bit of that virus's MRNA should be even safer!

Controversial

"A report by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) published October 7 noted that most British COVID-19 deaths in September were among the “fully vaccinated,” as were most hospitalizations."

UKHSA = meemaw apparently

I wish the vaccine was as effective as you authoritarian lunatics continue to believe. I truly do. But no matter how much data comes out showing how quickly the efficacy wanes, you just ignore it and call it 'misinformation from meemaw' and get in line for your sixth booster in three years.

Devout Protestant here. I always get curious about the religious exemption talk because I don't know of any passages in the Bible which would proscribe the COVID vaccines. That’s more of a Christian Science thing. I greatly believe in the importance of religious freedom, but I also find it helpful that a religion actually deems something bad before an exemption is claimed against it.

In Conway, Ark., Matt Troup, CEO of Conway Regional Health System, has granted 45 religious exemptions to employees who refused to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Their objections were largely based on the employees' beliefs that vaccines that used fetal cells in research, testing or production should not be put in their bodies. (Public health officials say fetal cell lines developed decades ago in the laboratory were used to develop and test the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines - a common practice in pharmaceutical research. Other fetal cell lines are being used in the production of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. But the vaccines themselves do not contain any fetal cells.)

Anybody who falls under a church with a pro-life stance can potentially get a religious exemption.

My personal view is that the fetus was already aborted so to me it doesn't matter, but I certainly understand people who think differently.

Before granting the religious exemptions, Troup sent the employees a list of 28 commonly used medicines that also used fetal cells in their research, testing or development — a list that includes Tylenol, Motrin, Tums, Ex-Lax and other medicine cabinet staples. He asked employees to attest to not be using any of those medicines.

Hilarious!

I had anticipated that this would be the line of reasoning used. I was very disappointed when John Piper published his piece advocating for that position.

I find it a very foolish one for several reasons:

1) As you mentioned, the aborted children who were the sources of these tissue lines are long dead, and their lines are now self-replicating for decades, if not indefinitely.

2) The vaccines do not actually use these cell lines; they were merely used for a portion of the testing as far as I’ve read/understand, so it’s not like any of these cells are being consumed by the end user.

3. Your action in taking the vaccine takes no lives and can save many on a prospective basis. To do otherwise is to violate the 6th Commandment against killing.

If you care for life, you will take a life-saving therapy, even if it was partially tested using decades old-tissue from an aborted child. Bit short on time right now, but I can elaborate as needed. Cheers

Among my age/ethnic combination the death rate by covid is zero. No need to do anything.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.
