Hi all, will be joining a larger regional office (Chicago/Dallas/LA) of a private bank of a BB as an analyst after graduation. Base pay is same as NYC, 85k. I am trying to understand what my comp will look like on a higher level to better plan out my finances as I have some financial obligations to help support my family with my summer intern money and future salary. I understand that in general, analysts get a stub bonus which is basically from what I know a bonus for the five months of work from August to December in the January after we start. Is this bonus generally fixed for all 1st years or is it performance based. Also given we are in PB, what is the typical bonus amount for a full years pay. I have heard different numbers from 10-20% of base to 20-40% of base and was wondering if anyone had any examples? Thank you for any information!
