Mine is continued professional development through industry conferences/seminars and leveraging the resources available through some of the leading global membership associations in the areas of investment and risk (e.g. CFA Institute and Global Association of Risk Professionals).

Happy New Year 2018 to everyone.

My resolution is to breathe more air this year than last year.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Let go of worries and follow through on my plans.

1/2/18

To care more about myself. Spent the past few years caught up in the rat-race and spent no time focusing on myself. Hoping to try and take more time off and focus on developing as a person and not just my career.

To get an internship at a bulge-bracket bank for this summer and to learn drums and bass guitar.

Sell SPX Naked Calls, and pray the stock market crashes, and every bull gets shafted.

1/3/18

Haha thank you for your money. Cheap market. And vol is especially cheap

Stick to your iron condors and 4:1 spreads.

Selling naked is for us big boys.

1/3/18

"big boys" students like you are cancer on this forum -- the only person getting shafted is your daddy when you waste your allowance playing michael burry

1) I earned all this money, I come from a humble back-ground and have worked for everything I have

2) I am not playing Michael Burry (whatever that means). I've been making money so idk whos "allowance is getting shafted."

1/10/18

he was merely drawing a comparison to you and basically all the other cocky students on this website

also you came from a humble background but where did that humbleness go

can i sell naked or am i not a big boy, guess ill stick to my iron condors

1/10/18

Haha I was literally joking dude. I didn't realize my joke made me a "cancer to this forum" compared to the "pounding an 18 year old" or "Oprah is a monkey" statements being thrown around this forum. Who are the other cocky students on here? We are all just tryna make a buck so we can pay for our college and wont have to hear from angry baby-boomers shouting about how they are subsidizing our student loans, and having their SS money stolen via student debt.

Check fucking mate

1/13/18

Wait who or where were those comments you put in quotes said? I would really like to know this pats game is extremely boring so drama will have to suffice!

1/3/18

haha...you do know that the real trade with vol low for a market crash is owning puts.

BJJ 1x / Wk is weak bro, step that up to a few more days

1/3/18

I worry, too, that by once per week I can't improve my BJJ skills. But I do heavy lifting 3 days on weekdays. To increase flexibility/mobility and add some cardio, I do BJJ. Later, If I like BJJ more, I'd lot more days on it. Thank you.

1/8/18

Awesome to hear others doing BJJ. My goal is 2x a week for now, and ultimately be able to consistently go 3x a week barring any work/external commitments. I don't do other physical activities, so no excuses for me.

Not sure of your current programming skill set and level, but I'd check out datacamp if you're interested in either R or Python. I can't speak to their Python courses, but their R modules have been well worth the money.

Try out one of those grocery/meal delivery plans like Sun Basket or Hello Fresh. Learning recipes was one of mine last year and signing up for one of those services got me cooking different meals every week.

Thanks! I would check them out.
