What Monitors Should I Buy for WFH?
Simple ask, what are the best monitors I can buy without spending extra money? Anyone like their setup a lot? I just got a keyboard, mouse, and laptop from the firm but need the screens.

Interning and using the two Acer VG240 monitors I had for my gaming setup, which are cheap and work quite well imo
I have an Acer too and its great. had a samsung before and it broke from nothing even happening
Monitor lizards. You're buying a monitor not a computer. Just get the Dell monitor's that every company has now. They swivvel on every angle. Get at least 3.I'll get the part umber for you tomorrow if I remember
G34WC by Gigabyte. Or Dell Ultrasharps. Use wide monitor and control alt left/right. Two monitor makes it kinda icky for OCPD people with the bezel in the middle and constant dragging between two screen.
DELL U3014 or UP3017. They both have aspect ratio of 16:10 which is more square rather than wide rectangle so you can see more excel vertically too instead of just horizontally
make sure you get a dock for your laptop that has two HDMI outputs. otherwise you'll just duplicate the same screen on both of your external monitors
You can use a USB-C with a converter for the second (non-duplicative) port.

I almost spent $170 on a dock but you can get a USB C to dual HDMI adapter for $25 on Amazon.
Depends, how many monitors do you want and how much is your firm comping you/how much do you want to put down?
My firm only agreed to comp 1 monitor up to $350 and I was okay with spending about that much so I got 2 Asus PB287Q. They are 28" and 4K so my setup at home is actually better than what I have at the office. However, would not say these are the best quality monitors so if you only want 1, don't care about size or 4K, or if your budget is higher, Dell is the way to go.
Do you recommend getting a separate keyboard with a number pad?
Yes.
I have a 47inch screen rather than 2 monitors and like it a lot.
Do you recommend getting a separate keyboard with a number pad if the firm only sends laptops?
Yeah definitely
This one. Ultrawide changed my fucking life
Two questions:
-If you had to pick between higher picture quality vs refresh rate, which would you pick? In this case I can either get 1440 with 144 hz or 2160 with 75 hz
-Is the one super large/wide monitor not annoying? Feels like having dual can easily silo different tasks. Mental separation
bro you arent even gonna game or do excel at 2160 wtf
