What should I do? - Graduated last year with a degree in economics from a top Florida school

Not sure if this is the right place?

Hello everyone, I graduated last year with a degree in economics from a top Florida school
i have not done an internship and am very interested in finance, trading etc anything to do within the financial field. However my resume is rather weak, its almost to late to apply to an internship, and i would want to stay in Florida. SO right now im studying for the GMAT/GRE in the event that I go back to grad school for business/ entrepreneurship if nothing comes up. I am 22. 3.2-3.3 GPA, lost of interest and activities but really no work experience. I will post my resume sometime soon.
so what would you guys recommended. Start at a bank? Look into insurance? risk management? Somethings On my resume include, i run a small e commerce site that i started ( hence the reason for MA in Entrepreneurship), play chess "competitively", have my own stock portfolio (if you could call it that ;less then 15k)

would love to hear others thoughts.. thanks again, really enjoy reading the site

The first thing you need to do is figure out which area of finance you want to pursue. It is a broad field and there are very different paths for each division. Once you have that figured out you need to start contacting alumni, family, friends, and anyone else you might have a connection to in that field. You will have a very difficult time breaking in without someone on the inside to help you so start making those connections. An MBA is an option but being only 22, without much work experience, and not much to put on an application other than your e commerce site you will have a difficult time getting into a good school.

^^ how is that called for?
Probably wasn't. There are just so so many of these threads that don't require a tailored response, I thought inserting a question mark was pleasant though.

Lets make this simple, if you get an opp anywhere take it. Granted its not a teller position at your local branch. You are way past applying to an intership and wont have much of a chance at FT given its late in the game and you have a weak resume. If you can get a job at a smaller shop take it even if its not in IB or on the trading desk. At a smaller firm you have a higher chance of moving out of the back or middle office to the front office if you show dedication, are proactive, and work your ass off. Im not trying to be mean or rude, just realistic.
