What song do you have stuck in your head?

So monkeys, what tunes do you have playing on repeat over and over? Crucial part of the workday, IMHO.

For me, right now: Vampire Weekend - "Diplomat's Son" (a little obscure but wicked good tune)

eignenvectorLFO - Summer Girls...heard it at the bar this weekend

Reminded me of another one...

ELO - Telephone Line

prospieVampire Weekend is gay.

Their guitarist is. Didn't realize that matters?

It actually matters a lot, just not the way he meant it. Gay/bi/questionable/sexually awkward dudes make 10000x better music.

Michael Jackson Elton John Freddie Mercury David Bowie Etc.

I can't deny that. Though the question arises - which ends up leading to better music - a different sexuality, or lots of mind expanding drugs...I would argue the latter, gets the creative juices flowing

I'm on your side with that one. Then we can include Cobain, Hendrix, et al. Oh and Joe Cocker, can't forget Joe Cocker.

Make it Rain - Travis Porter

I was taught that the human brain was the crowning glory of evolution so far, but I think it's a very poor scheme for survival.

But after SPORTS came out in 83...

I think their undisputed masterpiece is Hip to be Square, a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

In 87, Huey released Fore!, his most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is Hip to be Square. A song so catchy that most people probably don't even listen to the lyrics. But they should, because its not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of friends. It's also about the personal statement of the band itself.

I'm lost without u / can't help myself / how does it feel? / to know that I love you babe

Baby you're the perfect shape, baby you're the perfect weight. Treat me like my birthday, I want it this way and I want it that way. It makes a man feel good baby.

The last song to get stuck in my head was Goyte - Somebody I Used to Know. Right now, Awolnation - Sail is growing on me.

Check out Discovery - Orange Shirt and Discovery - Swing Tree.

Sail is sick.

DJ Fresh - Gold Dust (Flux Pavilion Remix)

"You stop being an asshole when it sucks to be you." -IlliniProgrammer "Your grammar made me wish I'd been aborted." -happypantsmcgee

Thread revival initiated.

Looks I've come full circle here...been listening to the new Vampire Weekend record like nonstop over and over. Sooooooo fucking good. I don't think I can even isolate just one song to put here, but gun to my head I'd prolly go with Everlasting Arms.

Vampire Weekend is solid.

The Cranberries - Dream & Talking Heads - This Must Be The Place are stuck in my head.

Weird combo.

Man I could list dozens of songs but I'll go with one I just heard today:

Twenty One Pilots - Migraine

Prospective Banker. Gentleman. Bodybuilder.

Run Like Hell - Pink Floyd

Saw El Monstero (cover band) last Saturday and this ones just stuck in my head.
