What “type” do the BB’s hire

Am I crazy to think I have a shot of getting into a BB LevFin group?

I’m in FIG at a big 3 rating agency and have started to specialize in the RIA (retail brokerage and advisory) sector because the skills seem easily transferable (analysis of LBO deal terms, capital structure, synergies etc.) to LevFin.

Please somebody tell me it’s not that simple.

NYCBB:
Well there’s been a massive migration of talent out of levfin so anything is possible and I’m sure they need to lower the standards

I have seen people talk about the LevFin exodus on here a lot, but why? I can't find an explanation anywhere

Huey Lewis and the News. Great stuff! I just bought it on my way here. You heard it?

I’m not sure all the reasons. I have heard an overall “slow” work environment with very little deals has caused people to leave. All I know is that in my job since banking, I have seen multiples of levfin resumes than I ever had before. I’m sure someone here in levfin may have more color. It could honestly just be one slow year which led to low bonus which caused more people to leave.
