sperry top-sider gold oxfords.
.
desert boots are awesome
sperrys as much as i can, bean boots in the winter and during heavy rain (ya, i make it rain every now and then...)
Oh, I love them. I just don't see them in clubs often, more at actual events than just going out. What do I know though.
Dark shoes at clubs for me.
Too many drunk people spilling drinks has permanently stained too many pairs of light coloured shoes.

Is this a joke? You payed $400+ for those?
.
Tod's Driving Shoes.
I wear out all my shoes if I wear them long enough.
I rock Jordan's, but I've been told I need to go shoe shopping.
I'd rather burn $400 than buy those gnarly ass shoes. I could buy 10 pairs of vans authentics for that and I wouldn't have to look like a gay male nurse
jmayhem i'll cut you a break cause you're canadian. it's ok you just don't know any better. and to those who think wearing brothel stompers (guc loafs for all the n00bs out there) is really sweet.......reaaaaaallll original
Typical bro shoes: boat shoes, loafers, etc. But I am not a NY club guy, so not sure if that's what you're looking for. Bros hate clubs.
clarks black suede dessert boots, black loafers, burgendy wingtips, i can't stand regular brown shoes.
all the above are obviously with dark wash jeans (and none of that creased/faded Express crap)
boat shoes all the way
crocs. nothing says cool, sophisticated and NOT a date rapist like crocs
My traditional sandals if Im taking the camel out for a spin LOL
Gucci brown loafer w/Bamboo horsebit is my favourite.
prada americas cup goes quite well with jeans otherwise just some jays(if just parlaying) http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_…

White nike air force ones. $89.99
10 times outta 10 I'm gonebe lookin fly
All of these bowling shoe variants need to be burned, along with the people attached to them.
gay male nurse is right.
If I am going out to a casual environment, i.e. local bar or movies, I'm wearing my etnies or dc shoes. I'm not much for dress shoes outside of work.
My shoe selection depends on where I'm going and who I'm going out with. I will wear anything from Doc Martin's (Steel and Non-Steel Toe) to Timberland Boots and Feragammo Loafers to Sperry Topsiders. It just depends on where I'm gonna be.
I wear Doc Martin's all the time.

If I'm casual pretty much always Sperry's. Otherwise a nice pair of Cole Haans with work attire.

Pretty much all you need. Not everyone likes Bean Boots but they sure as hell work when you're trudging through the snow to work.
This for real?
Ostrich skin Johnson & murphys or coach loafers (wearing right now). Hate you all for making me descend into your materialistic whore-dome
oxfords made from baby seals
Clarks
I'm going to lay down some sage advice. The shoes you wear only impress other dudes or yourself. My friends who have game tighter than a 2 year old could wear croc knock offs and get laid. I've worn Testoni's at semi decent bar and see chick lay guys with beat nikes. Class and privilege does not equal smash.

Nike blazers or boat shoes
Black, whatever Happened to that chick from the subway thread. Shoulda pressed that.
I don't know what happened to her she never responded, pretty sure she hates me because I don't like hard working black women or I generalized. Unfortunate, but you win some you lose some.
Edit: She should PM me...haha
She prolly likes white dudes. You should talk shit to her about that.
hahaha, We'll see if she pm's me ill ask her whats up with that
Ant, after reading that thread I don't think she likes white dudes either.
Drool. Maybe women. Ooooohhhh.
So annoying I wish I knew who was shitting on me, its becoming ridiculous.
Damn, do yall fuckers ever sleep?!!
Sleep is that some kind of sick joke?
You can sleep when you die. haha
Add up the shits and I will SB you to offset. People hating is all.
It was 7 shits ridiculous
Don't worry about it black, I get shit on like no other.
clark deserts, cant go wrong
Bean boots, Clark's desert boots, Rancourt chukkas, Sperry's, and driving mocs. Don't need much else.

Casual / Night out shoes (Originally Posted: 11/17/2011)
Hey all-
Need some advice on shoes for going out in NYC. Nothing too crazy, just the typical bar / lounge scene with occasional forays into clubs. Typical areas to go out include LES, the Village, etc.
I don't love the seemingly popular suede shoes (http://www.jcrew.com/mens_feature/theliquorstore/shoes/PRDOVR~79438/794…) so I'm looking for some advice.
Thoughts?
You probably dont get laid much.
I think he wanted thoughts on the which type of shoes to get, lol.
Regards
Tods.

Lawl. Please be trolling. For your sake.
You need to get used to the J.Crew/chukka/suede stuff, OP. That's what's "in." Depending on vibe, classic Topsiders can often work, along with good driving loafers.
here, I'll give you something uber-affordable ( $100) and great-looking: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod9743000…
Thank me later.
^^Those have to be one of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen.
I have to ask, would you wear those with your pimped out purple suit or with your starched/creased jeans while holding a pimp cup?
You're clearly an aspie moron who hasn't been out to a decent whiskey bar in NYC in the last year. Suede bucks/oxfords have been in for a while. We're talking about casual shoes here, completely different from dress. [EDIT: if you were meaning to refer to the Ecco travesty above my post, then apologies, sir. I definitely agree lol]
A good rule of thumb is to just flip through the JCrew shoe selection and try to find stuff that's cheaper (since JCrew arbitrarily marks everything up like crazy now) but identical: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/shoes.jsp
I don't live in NYC. I stand by my comment, those are fucking attrocious. Besides, who the fuck wears "in" clothing besides a woman and a girly-man?
just my opinion, don't take it personal.
OP, wear what you find comfortable, not what other people wear. I apologize for disrupting yoru thread, carry on.
If you got the balls go with what I go with...although mine are in a sandstone color and are suede...

Yeah buddy. I got love for the native Americans!!
Regards
AA must be a troll.
No way can he seriously be recommending those shoes.
As I mentioned, I'm not a huge fan of the suede. The comment re: Topsiders was definitely beneficial, as I think those would be comfortable yet also nice enough to wear with jeans and button down or whatever, the typical NYC night out uniform.
Thanks for the help guys.
sebago docksiders
Boat shoes/desert boots/loafers/driving shoes pretty much cover it for me. Also Bean Boots if there's a ton of snow and the bar is more casual. Not sure why everyone is hating on suede, it's a nice alternative to normal leather shoes, although can look terrible if the shoe isn't very basic/classic. I'm with AA though on those shoes, although I wear something similar in brown instead of tan/sand.
Also, stay away from Ecco and that garbage. Sperrys aren't that much, and look much better. Sperry Topsiders are my go-to shoe for the most part.
i like black chelsea style boots. get them not too wide with a rounded toe...sort of look like dress shoes, but less dressy.
Budget? If you are going higher end, can recommend John Lobb, Edward Green, Gaziano & Girling, and Crockett & Jones.

Hey makeyourownluck,
before you go Ferragamo you should, first, learn how to spell it and ,second, get a fucking clue. You probably think Gucci and Ferragamo are "pussy" because your broke ass can't afford them. I bet you're the kind of person that has an above ground pool.
Unless I am reading this wrong, I believe he was relating the two in a cause-and-effect relationship, implying that if an individual were able to acquire shoes sold by Gucci or Ferragamo, then that individual will undoubtedly find that he is able to acquire pussy with relative ease. He does also add the corollary that if that same individual were to have an amiable personality and desirable physical appearance, he might find it even easier to acquire the aforementioned pussy.
That said, I could be misinterpreting the original statement. In that case, it is likely that his 'broke ass' cannot afford those brand of shoes, and that he be hatin'.
before you go calling people out on this board gather some points you fucking troll. Second, fuckers like you shine my gucci loafers inside Grand Central. Regards.
otter, you are completely correct I was super fucked up on hydrocodone and didn't even remember writing this. My apologies and thank you for the correction.
Correct me if I'm wrong but hydrocodone will easy afford you a pair of Gucci or Ferragamos.
