Oh, I love them. I just don't see them in clubs often, more at actual events than just going out. What do I know though.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Too many drunk people spilling drinks has permanently stained too many pairs of light coloured shoes.

Gucci loafers the stomper editions i.e. with the rubber bottoms. classy and can come in handy if you need to kick in a stall door or two during a weekend rager.

I'd rather burn $400 than buy those gnarly ass shoes. I could buy 10 pairs of vans authentics for that and I wouldn't have to look like a gay male nurse

jmayhem i'll cut you a break cause you're canadian. it's ok you just don't know any better. and to those who think wearing brothel stompers (guc loafs for all the n00bs out there) is really sweet.......reaaaaaallll original

clarks black suede dessert boots, black loafers, burgendy wingtips, i can't stand regular brown shoes.

all the above are obviously with dark wash jeans (and none of that creased/faded Express crap)

Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis - when I was dead broke man I couldn't picture this

My shoe selection depends on where I'm going and who I'm going out with. I will wear anything from Doc Martin's (Steel and Non-Steel Toe) to Timberland Boots and Feragammo Loafers to Sperry Topsiders. It just depends on where I'm gonna be.

I'm going to lay down some sage advice. The shoes you wear only impress other dudes or yourself. My friends who have game tighter than a 2 year old could wear croc knock offs and get laid. I've worn Testoni's at semi decent bar and see chick lay guys with beat nikes. Class and privilege does not equal smash.

I don't know what happened to her she never responded, pretty sure she hates me because I don't like hard working black women or I generalized. Unfortunate, but you win some you lose some.

Edit: She should PM me...haha

Lawl. Please be trolling. For your sake.

You need to get used to the J.Crew/chukka/suede stuff, OP. That's what's "in." Depending on vibe, classic Topsiders can often work, along with good driving loafers.

here, I'll give you something uber-affordable (http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod9743000…

^^Those have to be one of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen.

I have to ask, would you wear those with your pimped out purple suit or with your starched/creased jeans while holding a pimp cup?

You're clearly an aspie moron who hasn't been out to a decent whiskey bar in NYC in the last year. Suede bucks/oxfords have been in for a while. We're talking about casual shoes here, completely different from dress. [EDIT: if you were meaning to refer to the Ecco travesty above my post, then apologies, sir. I definitely agree lol]

A good rule of thumb is to just flip through the JCrew shoe selection and try to find stuff that's cheaper (since JCrew arbitrarily marks everything up like crazy now) but identical: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/shoes.jsp

Boat shoes/desert boots/loafers/driving shoes pretty much cover it for me. Also Bean Boots if there's a ton of snow and the bar is more casual. Not sure why everyone is hating on suede, it's a nice alternative to normal leather shoes, although can look terrible if the shoe isn't very basic/classic. I'm with AA though on those shoes, although I wear something similar in brown instead of tan/sand.

Also, stay away from Ecco and that garbage. Sperrys aren't that much, and look much better. Sperry Topsiders are my go-to shoe for the most part.

Hi, Eric Stratton, rush chairman, damn glad to meet you.

Hey makeyourownluck,

before you go Ferragamo you should, first, learn how to spell it and ,second, get a fucking clue. You probably think Gucci and Ferragamo are "pussy" because your broke ass can't afford them. I bet you're the kind of person that has an above ground pool.

Unless I am reading this wrong, I believe he was relating the two in a cause-and-effect relationship, implying that if an individual were able to acquire shoes sold by Gucci or Ferragamo, then that individual will undoubtedly find that he is able to acquire pussy with relative ease. He does also add the corollary that if that same individual were to have an amiable personality and desirable physical appearance, he might find it even easier to acquire the aforementioned pussy.

That said, I could be misinterpreting the original statement. In that case, it is likely that his 'broke ass' cannot afford those brand of shoes, and that he be hatin'.
