Pink Whitney.
Personally, I’m a coors light man
Easy, Miller Lite x3
Space Dust IPA - Elysian Brewing Co. 8.2% ABV and tastes amazing. Win-win-win
The European version of that is Duvel or Delirium Tremens. Solid ABV percentage and great taste. Not sure how cheap they are in the US so many not be as "worth" your money as in Europe. St. Stefanus is another really high quality beer that starts as a pale lager and ages to a dark stout color after 12 months if left alone in the bottle to mature. Best beer, but very regional and personal choice, is Ichnusa "Non filtrata" (unfiltered). Best non-craft/small-batch Italian beer out there.
As a college student, the only beer I drink is natty light but for taste then a Kona brew longboard
What about keystone tho
My fraternity gets discounts for natty light since we buy by the pallet
Blue Moon easy, goes with food great and just as good without
Like IPAs as well, nothing like a 6 pack of Goose Island during an 18-hole round of golf
Guinness
Wow surprised to see the American beers showing up (they are good for bang for the buck tho).
My favorites are Krombacher, Duvel, Chimay (all of them), Carlsberg, Stella, Peroni
Voodoo Ranger IPA, the 9% one is excellent bang for buck and it tastes great.
Blue Shmoon, Buddies and Natties.
If I'm just having a couple beers with dinner or something then I'll go with Blue Moon or a sour beer.
If I'm going out to not remember the night I'll go with something lighter like Corona or Miller Lite.
Root beer. I'm 12.
I kid I kid. But in all seriousness,
Light beer: LightSky (Light version of Blue Moon)
Stout/porter: Guinness
Cheap Beer: Rolling Rock
Usually: whatever the hell I'm drinking at the moment
rolling rock is the grossest shit that has ever come in contact with my taste buds
Heresy! Thou shall be stoned!
At least it's not watered down like Natty though. Hot take, it's better than PBR
I'd rather just stay sober instead of drink rolling rock.
Any beer with at least 7% ABV and 70 IBU. I like to call it a 7&7.
In my book the best bang for your buck is Yuengling. I usually drink obnoxious New England IPAs though.
Yeah somewhat in the same boat, Yuenglings are great and go down fast. Some other go-to's below.
Jai Alai, Sierra Nevada, Dogfishhead, Pilsner Urquell, UFO White, Sip of Sunshine
Lagunitas IPA
peroni
Peroni is literally the European PBR IMO
Agree, Peroni is not high quality. But neither is Corona, and I sort of like it.
When Guinness is not available, Delrium Tremens, a Belgian with 8.5% ABV is good.
There are dozens if not hundreds of craft brewers making nearly identical but very good IPAs and DIPAs now, I like to try whatever new one I can get my hands on. Current favorite is probably the Julius from Tree house in MA if I had to choose. I usually can't drink more than 1-2 of those heavy beers though.
Also love getting my hands on a big bottle of funky farmhouse ale or saison, Hill Farmstead in VT and Tired Hands near Philly have some great ones. Any other recommendations here?
A Gose or Cider is good for brunch/daytime as a mimosa/bloody alternative.
If I'm drinking heavily good old Bud / Miller / Coors light gets the job done fine.
Panic order at a bar when I haven't had time to look at the draft list yet is always Guinness. Definitely my favorite non-"craft" beer.
Both Heady Topper and Focal Banger from the Alchemist brewery in VT are excellent
Alchemist is all time. Clown shoes out of MA is fire too my favorite is probably space cake
Not to be a hater because they're a fantastic and near legendary brewery, but I think Alchemist really needs to expand their beer offering. Heady and Focal are great but they don't stand out to me as much anymore. I have only seen a couple other beers from them besides the big two.
Going to follow that up with Lawsons and Zero Gravity
Busch Light, I love it. There's even some classy parts of the country where it's served in glass bottles.
Guinness or Birra Morretti
You're a pub man
Anything from Sloop and Other Half
Finback is churning out some fire IPAs too these days.
Corona + tequila shot. 2 rounds and you’re ready to go
Claws
I like this. When the SEC asks why you were inside trading you can hit them with the “no laws when you’re drinking claws”
Hot take, hard seltzer is for bunch of sorority girls.
Yes I judge people who drink hard seltzer.
Augustiner Helles
Rhine Altbier (e.g. Fuechschen)
Generally the local pilsners when I´m visiting home
Hoegaarden, and not because of the name
Draft Shock Top with an orange. No Brainer.
My go-to when I'm at a sox game, minus the orange.
Shiner bock
La Chouffe, if you know you know
Huge fan of japanese asahi, sapporo and kirin beers, love the nastro azzurro beer from peroni. London pride is great too.
Montauk's - for all my NYC folks
The watermelon session ale is great in the summer
Labatt Blue - the official beer of Quebec
honestly those Canadian beers are really good and refreshing, LaBatt, moslson, etc
Abita Amber Ale (Louisiana brewery)
Allagash White
Blue Moon
Rockaway Brewery Hawaiian Pizza IPA (LIC/Queens)
Hoegaarden White Ale

I'm surprised Yuengling is that high on your list, or even on your list at all since I thought you live in California. Oddly enough, I met this one kid in California because I saw he had a Yuengling shirt on and I know it's more popular in PA and the surrounding areas. Turns out he was from the town over from me and was in LA for a tech internship.
I went to college way out of state before returning to SoCal so that introduced me to a lot of new beers. Also old enough to where the craft scene practically didn't exist thus my list is almost all traditional brands. Yuengling is pretty darn good and all American, gotta love that.
snakebite: half Guinness half cider
I think that I need to pick Weihenstephaner Hefe-Weiß. It's tough to go wrong with Headdy Topper though, and despite seeking it out you can never find either Pliny here on the east coast. I've wanted to try it for ages.
Sip of Sunshine
Augustiner Edelstoff, Delirium Tremens, Troegs Nugget Nectar, Jai Alai
cold
Red stripe
Big wave golden ale goes off
For cheap beers, probably Bud, Corona, and Natty. I also like Genesee. For accessible good beers (Im from New England so not applicable everywhere), probably go with various Harpoon IPAs, Sam Summer, some stuff from Brooklyn Brewing, Yuengling, and Allagsash White. Now once we get into craft beers, I am a big fan of various offerings from the following breweries, primarily IPAs, APAs, and stouts: Treehouse, Trillium, Nightshift, Mystic (sadly closed last year, still worth a mention), Exhibit A, Lawsons, BLDG8, Vanished Valley, Hill Farmstead, Zero Gravity, and Lost Nation, among others.
Some of Trillium's stuff is incredible, definitely up there with my favorite breweries.
Definitely. I love their stuff in the summer, especially those fruity IPAs. I used to work like a block away from their beer garden in the financial district. Was such a great afternoon break spot.
Genny's very under rated, there are some mixing things like clamato where it fails, but overall it's a tasty beer.
Sam Summer is junk. Brooklyn makes a lot of good stuff though. Have you ever been to the Brewery? They make most of the stuff up at FX Matt, but the neat things get brewed in Brooklyn.
Not yet. I really wanted to go this summer but as we know, things aren't really normal. I will go eventually though. I really like their stuff and want to explore the NY beer scene more.
Covid has actually been amazing for craft beer lovers. A ton of great breweries are shipping/doing home delivery for the first time - Other Half, Finback, Evil Twin in NYC, Tired Hands in PA, Hudson Valley in upstate NY. The Tavour app is also great - lots of variety and interesting breweries/beers from around the country.
Can't go wrong with anything from Modern Times if you're in California. Bells and Founders are consistently great too. More individual beer specific - Avery White Rascal, Boulevard Tank 7 saison, Czechvar pilsner (known as Budweiser Budvar in Czech Rep.), Bells Oberon, Founders porter.
Hands Down Sour Monkey... 9.5 ABV
Italian beer Ichnusa, Guinness, Blue Moon
Pliny the Elder
Miller high life is pretty good
