I would replace "patriotic" with nationalistic, paranoid and neurotic.

if you're referring to americans, at least we don't freak the fuck out over land disputes and set foreign car dealerships on fire.

also, we aren't totally corrupt, and have some regard for human life.

we don't have land disputes. we just invade the fuck out of mexico and PWN that shit. also, when we get pissed at a country (e.g., Japan), we take those rice burners and wreck 'em at a monster truck rally where we get some promotional income. the chinese still have much to learn from us.

Ya, China's is totally corrupt. All 100% of them. Excellent observation. /s

Just a little FYI - my dad's company has, on various occasions, done business with Chinese firms. Never once was he cheated of his money nor did they break any contractual terms. But I guess you're hardcore follower of either Fox or CNN, so you won't accept what I'm saying. You think all those people are bad. The American media machine clouds your judgement.

Your argument is invalid, your parents died when they left the opera early.

China is, objectively and without any doubt, one of the most immoral and corrupt nations on earth. You must be absolutely insane to deny this, especially the corruption part. Look at how many of their politicians conveniently die every now and then. Look at their inflated economic numbers which are easily falsifiable. Look at how they treat each other (the video of the girl getting hit by the car, lying in the street dead or unconscious and dozens of people walking right past her comes to mind).

Their government, and most of their people, are rotten to the core. I guess you have zero regard for human life or decency when you have over a billion people stepping on each other in the race to the top.

lmao

Your parents experience with Chinese firm /= China isn't as corrupt as hell. Unless you are part of the Party, or are able to grease palms (if you can do this, you are a foreigner or part of the Party), good luck doing any serious business in China.

Where could you possibly be from? I'm having trouble figuring it out.

They don't like to be compared for the same reason an Irish person doesn't like to be called a Pollock. For the same reason a Korean might smack you if you called them Japanese. For that same reason, a Dominican would flip some chairs if you called him a Puerto Rican. And anyone from South America would seriously consider first-degree murder if you called them Mexican.

Now where the hell are you from that you don't realize how ignorant that question is??

People don't like to be confused for other nationalities due to histories, past conflicts, and general cultural differences.

That said, I want to dedicate this post to asserting the ignorance of ChrisHansen.

The OP is hilarious.

On a side note though, I have a 0.o look on my face whenever Chinese people complain that they can't understand Indian accents/make fun of Indian English. Just...really? Really?

because there is no comparison between china and india

one of them is a third world, smelly dump and its not China. China doesn't offer the freedoms of USA so it will always lose vs us but compared to a country like India it will always come out on tops.

You're telling me China is clean and has no pollution? lmfao There's a reason why there are Chinese signs in European cities that instruct you how to take a dump in the toilet...

when i called india a dump i didnt mean pollution (even though it is slum central).

i meant poverty, crime rate, its status as rape capital of the world etc.

I'm Chinese. I think the new generation of China, including me, has the ambition to be the top of the world someday, but not still be compared with a neighbouring country. I don't think the western society know both of us a lot. If you are going to China, I suggest do not talk to much on politics or make criticism, maybe because it is part of the culture. To me, I am not afraid to be compared with others, I just don't like the attitude of being judged by prejudice and arrogance, which have existed since the last century from the western society, and also being provoked. so just avoid the comparison, no one likes that. In this perspective we are the same as the rest of the world.
