Consulting at Tier 2/3 or Strategy Consulting at Fortune 50
This is a post-mba question here:
I have two offers, one is for Capgemini Management Consulting and the other is for a Fortune 50 company in their Strategy Group. While I like the Strategy group more it pays 20% less...so if you were in my shoes where would you go?
Would the strategy group involve less travel?
What would you do at Capgemini? My understanding is that they are a process / IT shop. If that's true, I'd go for the Fortune 50 for sure (unless you love process / IT work).
The Capgemini thing actually is Strategy (something similar to Accenture Management Consulting) and yes the Corporate Strategy would have no travel at all.
