Scholarship in Europe or Boutique Consulting?
A little bit of background first, I am currently a senior at a target undergrad. After a very frustrating recruiting season ended with two final round rejections from MBB, I was truly very disappointed.
Currently, I have an offer from one small boutique biopharmaceutical consulting firm. In addition, I have a two-year scholarship for Economics MS in Uppsala University in Sweden. While it is very tempting for me to take the job, I wonder if study abroad for a year and try my luck again with MBB next year will be better. ( I don't mind working in London although US is still my best choice)
Did a little bit of online research and found that Accenture and Bain has OCR at Uppsala.( McK and BCG unknown) Alternatively, I can try to extend my graduation at my target undergrad or apply for master programs in US.
Should I take the job, scholarship or extend graduation? I will definitely keep an eye on spring recruiting although chances for off-cycle candidate is probably pretty slim.
Any advice/comments will be appreciated. I am really confused right now about my next steps.
