Best US MBA for management consulting in Asia

I'm thinking of going to business school with the intent of switching from tech to management consulting. I've been thinking of going to Asia (particularly HK and possibly SEA) for a while now. That said, which MBA programs in the US have the best reputations in that geography? I assume the top schools for the region also have the best reputations within management consulting there?

I went to an M7 school and am currently at MBB in the US.

I had many peers go to MBB in other countries. Mostly their home countries. In some cases a country that also spoke english, or where they had strong language abilities (e.g., one American friend spoke fluent Russian, and took a position in Moscow).

Examples of Asian countries where I know people went home to and took an MBB role include: S. Korea, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, and Malaysia. Probably others, but I can name someone at each of these locations off the top of my head.

If anything, I felt that that international locations were "easier" as the pedigree of a top US business school is pretty useful for these offices. Maybe I am biased.

I also know of people who have transferred to Asian offices after starting in the US.

Which school is best? Probably just go for whatever school is best for Mgmt Consulting as a while. What's your tie to HK/SG? Do you have a good story or do you just think they're cool?

Thanks-- I think I'd like to move to HK/SG/SEA after B-school and some US experience. I might be looking too long term as reputation and prestige shifts over time. It'd just be something for me to keep in mind as I narrow down my application list.
