Macquarie Capital in 2019 (NYC IB)

Does anybody know what MacCap IB is like as of late? What are their best groups and exit opps? How is the lifestyle and culture? I'll be interning there next summer for IB SA and have been thinking about group preference.

Thanks!

Got it. Anyone have insight into their other IB groups? principal transactions group? TMT?

Can someone also shed some light on Macquarie Capital's Real Estate Principal Investing team in New York? All I know and can find is Real Estate Principal Investing team invests their own capital across North America in all major real estate properties. The team was founded in 2010 and has since invested over $4bn across 86 ransactions.

Does this team fall within their MIRA group? or it's in Macquarie Capital group and that's separate from MIRA? I know MIRA is really big in infrastructure real estate and energy. But never heard about Macquarie in general commercial real estate, neither debt or equity.

Any inputs are appreciated.
