Funniest

Probably the worst Investment Bank in Canada, every product group is ass besides M&M which is basically a sweatshop. The salary is shit, the exits are shit, horrible WLB, they haven't  been on any major deals, they're homophobic, must I say more?? BMO is looking as shitty as FT partners.

I second this. Culture is horrible even in the US, and them not being #1 in Canada says something. Interns are treated very poorly and everyone acts like a family on the surface but in person there are tons of work politics in play, and it will bite you in the ass eventually.

Only the Metals & Mining group (if you're okay with being bullied for being gay)

I’ve been working in the Chicago office for 2.5 years and can attest to that. Currently trying to jump ship ASAP

Strongly dislike 'prestige' assessments and the reality is if you get a BMO offer vs no offer, you should take it with both hands.  That said, I am forever grateful that I got an RBC interview right in the middle of BMO final rounds and managed to nail it; my good friend got the BMO position.  He got canned and then his replacement got canned as well; these were not incompetent guys.  BMO just seems to love canning people.
