Nope. Better leave the info and advice in written form, so that it can be searched and there are less questions about stuff that has been answered 20+ times.

I would use it. As an inexperienced member it's useful because you can asked questions and receive detailed answers and ask further questions if and as needed (providing that experienced members are willing to partake). And for an experienced member who is willing to help someone it allows more interaction and you can explain stuff better if the person needing help or advice doesn't understand something.

It's probably better to keep trivial stuff to the forums though. Experienced members might not have much time to deal with many things. It would work if two people agreed on a time and date to work over something though. No, DON'T use it to ask about models & bottles!
