I think Bernanke will end up blowing the economy up, but I personally liked him and thought he came at things from a deep worry about repeating the great depression. I've heard Yellen speak and found her to be underwhelming. Greenspan thought a little too highly of himself.
Greenspan is in the lead?? If you had to pin the financial crisis on one person, he's the guy.
Volcker by a country mile in my opinion. He has an intellectual honesty the others sadly lack and he did a remarkable job smoking inflation at the start of his tenure.
