List of NYC Hedge Funds.

Hello everyone,

I am looking to apply to hedge funds in NY. So far I have come across this list http://richard-wilson.blogspot.com/2008/05/hedge-funds-in-new-york.html however it is pretty small. I can think of many hedge funds that are NYC based and not included in that list.

I was very grateful for that list of NYC boutiques taken from Capital IQ which was posted here, I was hoping someone here can do the same for NYC hedge funds.

thanks!

Hedge funds is a very losely

Hedge funds is a very losely defined term and there really is a sliding scale.
at the lowest level a "hedge fund" can be a $100,000 fund managed by a guy in his brooklyn studio, made of his neighbor's investments.

by that minimum definition there are probably hundreds of thousands of hedge funds in nyc.

maybe you should ask for funds with AUM>$100M or something.

p.s.- you're wasting your time.

yes I know what a hedge fund

yesman I know what a hedge fund is.. I dealt with hundreds of them when I worked at MS.
I don really have a preference but Multi-strategy ones AUM>100m would be fine.
