List of Hedge Funds in NYC

Does anybody know where I can find a comprehensive list of New York based hedge funds? Preferably grouped by investment strategy and AUM? Many thanks.

Hedge funds is a very losely defined term and there really is a sliding scale. at the lowest level a "hedge fund" can be a $100,000 fund managed by a guy in his brooklyn studio, made of his neighbor's investments.

by that minimum definition there are probably hundreds of thousands of hedge funds in nyc.

maybe you should ask for funds with AUM>$100M or something.

p.s.- you're wasting your time.

agree with the above...

what kind of strategy to you want to work on? do you even know what a hedge fund is? suggest starting at a more basic level

Hi rothyman. I'm really interested in global macro and long/short funds, location does not matter. Can you list it if you have time?

hedgefundHi rothyman. I'm really interested in global macro and long/short funds, location does not matter. Can you list it if you have time?

That list would be absurdly huge. Give me a location and an AUM range and I'll give you a decent list.

We are updating our entire Company DB for AUM ...as well as adding in a ton more HFs...soon we will allow you to filter by AUM as well.

AUM should be 500M or higher. Location: Texas, NYC, Thanks a lot.

Just PM you with a list of more than 800 funds in New York with phone, fund manager, strat, etc.
It will be a good start!

Could you please PM me this as well? Currently in MM IB with the end goal to move to a fundamental long short HF.

Only have access to NA hedge funds. However might want to check WSO's directory

Sorry for bumping this, but could I get a list of asia focused l/s hedge funds in NYC with greater than $1 billion AUM by any chance? Is that too general?

WSO directory or Google maps and search for "hedge fund" or some variation
