Thread of the Week:

I'm not sure how to verify this, but I'm reasonably certain we have a new record on WSO. @"Jared Dillian" absolutely dropped the mike with his post How to Get a Job on Wall Street (When You Don't Know Anybody). His advice to take pretty much any job you can to get your foot in the door and then use that opportunity to distinguish yourself was spot on, and are you ready for this? The thread pulled in an astounding 37 Silver Bananas and 83 Facebook Likes. Whoa!

Caption Contest Winner:

The winner of this week's caption contest is @That_Aston with his caption, "Who let Sarah Jessica Parker onto the floor?" Now that's just mean.

Comment of the Week:

We've got a tie for this week's comment of the week, so it's up to you to decide. @Ruskii had a matter-of-fact response to the thread Worst Thing About Big 4 when he pointed out, "No, the worst thing about Big 4 Audit, is actually the auditing." @"Going Concern" earned himself 4 Silver Bananas by expressing a sentiment I hear often here on WSO: "Lol, in addition to Certified Users we should also have tags for uncertified users.", meaning those nitwit trolls and idiots who actually manage to contribute less than nothing to the site.

Guidance Counselor:

@karl_pilkington showed us how an AMA is done this week with his thread, "Ask me anything: Project Leader/Engagement Manager/Case Team Leader at MBB". Not only did the thread itself earn him 3 Silver Bananas, but he also racked up a bunch in the comments as he answered your questions. Nicely done!

Honorable Mention:

Honorable Mention this week goes to @easyp1984 for his thread, "Why I think you should take a corporate strategy gig over consulting (including MBB) at the entry-level ". His perspective on a corporate strategy role earned him 7 Silver Bananas and 2 Facebook Likes.

Most Active Monkeys:

@DickFuld led the pack this week with 189 banana points. @"Jared Dillian" @karl_pilkington and @"Going Concern" followed him, all with triple digit banana points for the week. Excellent work, guys!
