Meet The Wives Of Wall Street
Andy note: this was originally posted on BI on 9/22/12
We feel like we know Louis Bacon, Steve Schwarzman and Jamie Dimon to a certain extent because we read about them in the news all the time.
But we really don't know much about their wives at all, and that feels a little odd.
We've found that many of the hedge fund honchos, private equity titans and bank CEOs are married to some really remarkable women.
During our research, we found a fashion designer, an economist, several entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Now let's meet Wall Street's wives...
Some good, some bad
I'd have a go at a few of them, no doubt
It really doesn't make sense to be a billionaire and have a homely wife. I mean seriously.
lol my high school PE teacher was hotter than any of those wives
quite surprised actually.
Why am I not surprised Blankfein's wife is a total bruiser
A bunch of fuglies here without class. These chaps could use some pointers from me on class and prestige.
honestly, if some of these guys had super-hot 19-year-old wives, then i wouldn't be able to take them seriously. straight creepy old man status...
You guys are so freakin' shallow, but so am I, and I think T. Boone deserves more credit, Falcone as well.
You sure?
Interesting. Icahn's wife and Soros's latest iteration are what I expected from this list.
But most look very normal, and even appear similar in age. A surprising number from the business world...the thought of dating a girl in finance is really a turn off for me. I don't even mean because of appearances: if you work in finance, do you really want to come back to somebody who is also in finance?
Leave it to Kravis to find the best solution: an economist. Similar enough that each is interested in the other's work, different enough that you aren't discussing debt covenants over dinner. Also, they are going after very different kinds of "prestige", so there's no competition.
Though there is something to be said for Falcone. I think meeting somebody before you've made it is the best way to ensure you have a real relationship.
And I hope that is just a bad picture of Bacon's wife.
while we're on the topic of hot wives of powerful people, has anyone ever seen Queen Rania of Jordan?

looks like a hotter version of Natalie Portman.
Einhorn's wife is actually a man and a former NFL kicker stalking Dan Marino
Ha! Finkle is Einhorn, Einhorn is Finkle!
BI had to pick the worst possible picture of Cheryl they could find. Here is a much better one (as pointed out a commentator on their own site): http://www.hillel.org/about/news/2008/mar/27mar08_einhorn.htm
She may not be statuesque but Cheryl Einhorn is a beautiful woman.
^ damnnn, she could get nastyy
I'm more disappointed in Jamie than anyone else. He's actually an all-rounder... but then again, JP headquarters has many a fine meeting room
For anyone who's interested, Jamie Dimon's daughters:

How do I taint those purebloods?
I put these women to shame, how do I meet single wall street execs?
Try craiglist.
Most of those women look pretty damn good for their age.
That Falcone girl has crazy written all over her.
PTJ's wife:
^One of em goes to Duke (friend's friend), so that's a good place to start.
Surprised by the lack of trophy wives
About: She was a single mom of Puerto Rican descent who grew up in Washington Heights. They met through a dating service in 1991 after he divorced his first wife.

wow...
The smart wives: Cheryl Einhorn (Cornell Magna Cum Laude, current prof at Columbia), Judith Dimon (HBS), Laura Blankfein (Georgetown JD)
Fun fact: Jamie Dimon was rejected from Brown
Maria Falcone is the classiest HF wife of them all.

I don't have time to go into this latest travesty, but it's something you all should see and be aware of:

Who else needs a shower?
This should be front page of the journal. Disgusting. Great find, Ed. SB
....................wtf?
Fuuuuuck me. The Wall Street shit show just doesn't end.
Clearly government is quite efficient in its capital allocations.
These bitches may have done some unethical shit, but did you read the other loans the fed gave out? The last page of the article is disturbing.
