Week 7 Fantasy Football Advice

Start Peyton Manning. Yes, I know you already planned on that however I am writing to tell you about the players who are going to have great games. As well as those who are going to continue laying goose eggs, like my boy Ronnie Hillman has all season long.

Hint: The Bears are going to have a great week!

Play Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffrey:

Why? For one the Redskins boast a mediocre secondary which allows 271.6 passing yards per game, good for 24th in the league. With Jeffrey and Marshall working the outside Jay has the necessary weapons to give this secondary headaches all day long. Oh, and they also have to take care of Matt Forte on the ground. Expect Forte to get plenty of screen passes in this game as well, a big plus for PPR leagues. There are few games I would gamble on with most of the players getting huge points, this is one of them.

Don't play Matt Ryan however you should consider playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense/Special Teams. No Julio Jones + No Roddy White (Questionable) + No Steven Jackson = Too Few Weapons. The Buccaneers invested a lot in their new secondary and they will focus their attention on Tony Gonzalez.

Don't play Trent Richardson, or the Broncos and Colts Defense/Special Teams. Trent Richardson is going against the #1 rushing defense in the league, and the football is going to be in the air for most of this game. With this game becoming a possible shootout I would recommend staying away from both of the team's defenses, even with the return of Von Miller to Denver.

The tight end market is dry right now, however if he's available pick up and play Heath Miller. Miller has begun averaging 77 reception yards per game, and Baltimore is allowing the 8th most fantasy points to opposing TEs in standard scoring leagues. The opportunity for a big day is there as long as the offensive line can protect Big Ben.

And finally, don't play Andre Johnson, he's a great receiver however there are question marks in regards to who will be throwing him the wall. Matt Schaub is not having a great season, and T.J Yates hasn't shown much promise in his last performance. The Texans like Case Keenum, he could be good we just haven't seen what he can do.

There is my advice, I hope it helped develop some insight on your lineup this week. Good luck to your teams, and Go Broncos!

I picked up Foles and am starting him. Cowboys giving up most to QBs this season.

Been screwed all season long, lost last week by .06, have had almost every one of my draft picks get injured at some point or be a bust(CJ Spiller, Ray Rice, Randall Cobb, Roddy White, RGIII playing like he is injured) Dropped Eli Manning cause he sucks, David Wilson was a huge bust. Terrible draft selections this year.

The only light in the tunnel is my pickups of Foles, Josh Gordon (beast), and Charles Clay. Also, hopefully Rice and Spiller can pick their shit up. Otherwise my roster each week is a mish mash of players.

Frank Sinatra - "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy."

Harry Douglas is a great pick-up for all those reasons in Atlanta (No Julio, No Roddy, No Jackson). A couple sleepers this week that could do well at the RB are Ryan Mathews (Chargers) and the cowboys RB Randle who is projected for an above average performance (19pts) in ESPN leagues...

I have both Vick and Cam Newton on my squad and they have under performed to say the least this year - with the exception being the first week for Vick and this past week for Newton. I would play Foles without a doubt if you have him on your roster, just monitor Vick's status so there is no surprise on gameday. With Desean Jackson being healthy, just about any quarterback could play in that system and throw a few deep balls his way, likely at least a touchdown to him.
