Exit to Palantir — thoughts?

Anyone know much about Palantir? A recruiter hit my line last week. Want to know if it's something interesting - looking to exit into a non-financial sector, so definitely a positive for me there.

Like as a software engineer? They do a lot of personal data mining stuff which is a bit controversial in cs circles. I got a full time offer there for around 180k total comp.

Very cool role - You'll basically be going on-site to make sure the product is being used the best way s.t. it adds the most value. I would take it over most IBs if you are not sold on finance.

Comp is strong. They don't really have title promotions, but you keep getting paid more and more as you advance. 
 

Business is doing well. Even with the massive appreciation since they went public, it's equity I'd want to hold over the long term
