First, there is a zoom interview, then you are invited to an in-person interview at their Milan Office. Online interview is usually with 1 or 2 people. In person interview usually is with 3 different people. Questions were not very difficult, normal questions for IB such as Wacc formulation, multiples, dcf, beta, ecc
Interview Questions
If you get multiples for a single company which are increasing in time, do you thing they are ok? Usually, multiples should be decreasing in years, since researches usually assume a growth in EBITDA in years while the EV used is the same.

Also another question was: in current situation, do you believe that have higher beta a SaaS tech company or an energy (oil) company? Answer is that SaaS has higher beta since is more correlated with the mkt, while oil business can be anticyclcial or in any case more linked with geopolitical and not market.

First you apply through their platform and you are invited to do some online tests about personality, maths and reading comprehension (it wans't a typical test provider used by other banks), difficulty wise was kind of high compared to other providers.

After that, I received an invite for a 1 on 1 interview (videocall), it was a typical banking interview but in the technical aspect was easier, they gave more importance to motivation, personality and market awareness. The interview was conducted by an associate.

After that, I received the offer.

Interview
1st year associate reached out to me to do an interview, interview consisted of mainly behavioral questions focused on understanding your previous roles and internships. The interviewer did not seem interested in getting to know you as a person and the firm seems to have a very sweaty culture. Technicals were very simple, basic EV questions and valuation questions. Was asked walk me through a DCF
Interview Questions
Asked me about a specific type of sector-specific analysis that I worked on in a CIP for a company within a specific sector of healthcare. Was asked this despite not having worked on that part of the analysis given it was a responsiblity for my associate. Seemed like the interviewer just wanted to grill me and make me feel uncomfortable.

Interview
I applied through my university's co-op program website and was asked to conduct a phone screening interview for the first round. The phone call was very casual and I really enjoyed the conversation with one of the analysts there. Most of the phone call was walking through my resume, talking about some of the deals they've done, and the M&A tech market. My in-person interview was roughly the same with the same analyst and an associate who ran me through some accounting technicals and talking about some of the responsibilities of a spring analyst.
Interview Questions
The most difficult part was talking about my thoughts/opinions on where tech was going and how M&A plays into that
