Interview
Recruiter reached out to discuss the interview process and expectations of the role. This was followed by a senior manager and hiring manager 1:1, which were both just pitching the company and desciring the various industries / project assignments that you could expect. The group interview included cross functional group of 4 people from finance, growth (marketing), solution architecture, and product. The interview was coupled with a case presentation on a play to capitalize on a potential investment theme involving 1 of several mega trends. While the case prompt was well structured, the interview itself and questions were pretty loosely structured, which is what I imagined BCG's Venture Capital culture is like. They notified me thata they were not going to hire for the role at that time. Overall made some good contacts throughout the process.

BCG interviews consisted of two back to back interviews. In the first, I had a case interview and one fit interview over the zoom with a principal. During the case interviews, I was given a business problem to solve and asked to walk the interviewer through my thought process. The fit interview was focused on assessing my motivation for the role and fit with the firm.

In the second round, I interviewed same thing with a partner. The case was different but it gets more challenging since you are interviewed by apartner.
Overall, the BCG interview process was focused on evaluating my analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, fit with the firm, and motivation for the role. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I made sure to prepare thoroughly for each round of interviews.

Interview
Initially, I took an online test and one way short interview. Subsequently, the first round was composed of HR (30 minutes) and online business case, which is fairly new to BCG. I want to highlight that online business case/chatbot case is fairly challenging and feels very different from original cases.
