Blackstone Hedge Fund Solutions

Hi guys. Does Blackstone deal with any time of Public Market Asset management? I am really interested in AM but i just recently had a connection with someone at blackstone, willing to push my resume for an internship. Being a sophomore i can’t pass this up. My dream position would be to work as a PM in equites or FICC. But from all i can see from my research of blackstone, i don’t see anything under their “hedge fund solutions” section that they have an hands in equity or fixed income investing. Does anyone know?

Blackstone Hedge Fund Solutions (better known as BAAM) is a big player within the FoF (funds of funds) space, meaning that Blackstone offers investment products that invest into hedge funds. If you were to work at BAAM, the role would most likely be a mixture of understanding markets, the various different hedge fund strategies that exist, and due diligence into portfolio managers that the fund is interested in investing in.
