What do you mean by "a few levels of the CFA passed?" There are only "a few" aka 3. Have you passed 2 levels or 1?

Just busting your balls, Vagabond... I honestly am not very familiar with Asset Manager compensation but I think that guy BlackHat might have some useful info...

Salary is usually ~$120k. The bonus varies WIDELY, some shops use the "take it slow" approach and don't give big bonuses your first year (with the promise of higher upside later). If I had to throw out a number I'd say $60k bonus plus a $20k signing. The bonus could be a lot higher than depending upon their attitude towards analyst comp and your performance.

You should ask them about bonus expectations / ranges. I don't think they would be offended at all especially since you're their top chioce.
