Equity L/S funds in British Columbia/Alberta?

Hi.

I'm looking to get a foot in the door at an Equity L/S fund in/around British Columbia/Alberta. I might be starting at the University of British Columbia for an Econ Masters with a CFA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you have your CFA? Regardless, Network network NETWORK. Call alumni, friends, and get on LinkedIn. If you have access to a Bloomberg, you can search funds/location/industry and find contact info on there.

Maybe use a Headhunter, but not sure how effective/useful they are compared to NYC.
