Goldman Sachs Asset Management Superday

Hey guys - I have a Goldman Sachs Superday for Asset Management (London) next week and was just wondering if anyone has any advice / experience with Goldman Superdays. Previous SAs have mentioned that Goldman focuses on more behavioral type questions and on the markets rather than technical questions.

But any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there! It sounds like you're gearing up for a big day - exciting times! Based on the most helpful WSO content, Goldman Sachs Superdays can indeed lean more towards behavioral questions and market-focused discussions. Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

  1. Know Your Story: Be ready to articulate your interest in finance, why you chose asset management, and why Goldman Sachs. They want to see genuine interest and passion.

  2. Understand the Markets: Be prepared to discuss current market trends, your views on the market, and how it could impact asset management.

  3. Behavioral Questions: Goldman Sachs tends to focus on these. Make sure you can answer questions like "Tell me about a time when..." or "Give an example of a situation where...".

  4. Know the Division: Understand what Asset Management does and how it fits into the broader picture at Goldman Sachs.

  5. Be Yourself: This might sound cliché, but it's important. They want to see who you are beyond your resume.

Remember, it's not just about them interviewing you, but also about you interviewing them. Ask thoughtful questions that show you've done your homework. Good luck, and remember to keep your cool - after all, they're just people too!
