Accenture Strategy to MBB
Hey guys I just accepted an offer from Accenture Strategy for their summer internship program. I didn't really network with anyone from MBB and didn't even apply to two of them. I would like to apply to their full-time programs next year. Is moving from ACN Strat to MBB doable? If so, any suggestions for what I should be doing other than networking and preparing for the interviews etc. Thanks!
Sure. Same boat as everyone else for what to do for interviews, there are a million topics on that. And have a justification why you went for technology consulting for summer and did not even apply to strategy
Sure, you'll be in the same boat as every other FT applicant. There's nothing special about your situation, so proceed as normal, with one caveat
I'd be prepared to explain why you applied consulting firms, and DIDN'T apply to MBB this year. Doesn't really make sense, and I'm kind of curious to know the answer myself
Well, my university is considered a semi-target for consulting. The reason I didn't apply was partly because I didn't really network with anyone at those other firms and wanted to concentrate my efforts on the firms that recruited at my school.
