Anerican Express Strategy vs. Capital One Business Analyst?

Received an offer for C1 BA, and first round for AmEx. Really happy with the C1 offer, but wondering how the two programs line up and if I should request an extension on my response time for C1 to feel out AmEx.

Are there any career benefits conferred by being on the AmEx Strategy team, as opposed to just a “business analyst” for Capital One?

What’s the AmEx comp like? Anything else I should consider (beyond location)?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, I can provide some insights on the Capital One Business Analyst role. It's a great program with a competitive compensation package. For instance, in 2022, the signing bonus for BAs was $9,000 plus $1,500 for relocation. The pay-scale varies by location, with $106K for McLean (DC) & Chicago, $100K for Plano (Dallas) & Richmond, and $113K for NYC. The role is broken down further into credit, product, or marketing roles, and you get a fair amount of input for your first rotation and a lot for your second.

However, I'm sorry, but it looks like this may be out of my ability to answer when it comes to the American Express Strategy role as I don't have any specific information on that. You might want to consider reaching out to people who have worked in these roles or check out other threads on WSO for more insights.
