Bain Final Round Monday- Anyone?

Hey did anyone interview with Bain for the final round this Monday? Why's it taking the firm so long to get back to me? I emailed the recruiter to inquire about the turnaround time and she hasn't replied. Does this mean I'm dinged already?

If you've already heard back please let me know. This waiting game is really killing me...

Email them at least 5 more times with the message, "Please respond."

You never can tell, but if there's longer than a 3-4 day wait, chances are the news isn't good. Got offers from 2/3 MBBs, both interviews were on Fridays, phone calls with offers came on Sunday (2 days) and Monday (3 days). Although I've heard of people getting called the same day with an offer, or getting the call with the offer the last possible day (typically 2 weeks after your final round interview).

Yea I figured at this point the chance of an offer is pretty slim, but I don't understand why they're taking so long to reject me. When I interviewed with McKinsey their turnaround for each round was only 1 day...

Im not sure about Bain's recruiting process, however, it may not be completely a bad thing if you haven;t heard back. There's a decent chance that you did not make the initial list, which is why you haven;t heard back yet. But it also means you weren't on the initial cut list either. A few companies keep some candidates on hold to see what the response for the current outstanding offers are. So it may not necessarily mean you are screwed. Even though the chances of people turning down the offer isn't very high.

Maybe they should hire some consultants to help them make their recruiting notification system more efficient
