Bain Full-Time APD Recruiting vs ADvantage
Hey guys: I interviewed for ADvantage last month and got rejected (despite positive feedback from one of the two partners that interviewed me; said office was highly competitive and they tried to figure out head count till last minute). I heard that Bain mainly recruits PhDs through ADvantage and that getting in during full-time recruiting is much more difficult (most hc goes to ADvantage). I'm thinking about applying to another country in APAC or EMEA (I'm an international candidate) since it looks like I won't stand much chance for NA offices. Any thoughts?
Im a PhD at Bain, and I know a few here too (EMEA).
Here, you'd basically apply either as an experienced hire or a new grad (depending on how long you've had your PhD). In Germany, I believe you'd recruit for a Consultant position, while in the UK you'd come in as an AC. Unsure about other countries in EMEA.
