Big 4 Battle: Deloitte vs. EY
Basking in Big 4 paradise!
I've received full-time offers for Deloitte Tech Consulting and EY FSO (Financial Services) Business Transformation in the same city. My goal is to break into strategy at MBB - understandably, doing implementation work at either of the firms would make this difficult.
I'm leaning towards Deloitte, as their Strategy & Analytics and M&A groups (within the Tech team) would likely make the jump to MBB/T2 more approachable. I'd really appreciate any thoughts and guidance before singing.
Howdy, in your same shoes. However, I know someone who rerecruited MBB with internship in that same Deloitte group. EY will be the same “weight” if you will.
Congrats on the offers! I've also seen EY FSO interns converting to MBB for FT.
I'm graduating, so my offers are for full-time roles. Next re-recruiting opportunity would be experienced hire, or post-MBA.
