Big 4 FRM vs. LDP

Hey everybody,

I'd like a little help making a job decision. I've got two offers: one is a financial risk management consulting job with a Big 4 advisory (think EY, PwC), and the other is an LDP with a mid-to-large sized tech firm (~$2B revenue). My main early career goal is to get me into an M7 and from there to MBB. I have solid but not fantastic grades (3.65) from a top 20 university that is a target school for consulting and a semi-target for banking. I took a practice GMAT and got a 700 with no preparation (I plan on putting in months of prep and hopefully getting a 730+).

A few key points about the jobs: Both are in mid-sized cities with low cost of living Big 4 - ~70k all-in, consulting travel perks, international transfer opportunities (something I could see myself doing), decent culture fit Tech firm - ~90k all-in, some travel (international possible), LDP includes FP&A, marketing, business development, and ops rotations with some ability to customize based on interest, was told by company CFO that the goal for the LDP is for you to enter management in 2 years and become an executive in 10 years, good culture fit

What do you guys think?
