Boston college vs CMU Tepper

Both are essentially the same $$$. My parents think I'm crazy for wanting to pass up Tepper but I just don't love CMU's environment. Is the difference really that huge between the two for consulting/banking/MAANG (for manager not actual tech) I'm willing to compromise if it is.

Tough choice. Can’t go wrong tbh. If you’re not sold on CMU environment, I’d probably go BC. Would suck to be surrounded by greasy nerds in gloomy Pittsburg and get low GPA & depression. Arguments can be made for both, but I think if you’re not interested in math/science/S&T, BC provides just as great if not marginally better of opportunity to break into the 3 career interests. Some ppl thrive when surrounded by smarter kids, so it’s all dependent on personality.

I'm just sick of being surrounded by competitive people and having to spend my life feeling on academics and worrying… and yeah I dislike math quite a bit. By MAANG I'm only interested in managerial roles not specialized stem roles land that kinda thing. If my parents didn’t care I’d literally just ED to BC and not look back.
